The 12 Best NYE Party Spots In Bali

1. FINNS Beach Club – The Best New Year’s Eve Do In Bali

For us, there’s only one choice from all the NYE parties that you can find here in Bali and that’s the one at FINNS Beach Club. It’s the biggest event on the island and it will be sold in advance. That means if you want to experience FINNS NYE Party, you should book your tickets early. The early bird definitely gets the worm in this instance.

Their general admission slots are already selling out fast as we go to press and we hear that they’ve nearly run out of furniture for the night too!

Why FINNS Beach Club? They bring in amazing international talent such as Duke Dumont, Fat Boy Slim, Flume, etc. and ensure that you can enjoy an amazing party into the early hours of the New Year.

And because they work on delivering the best parties in Bali every single day of the year, they’ve got the edge over everybody else when it comes to this special night.

We’ve found that the night here is great value for money compared to many other beach clubs and that the crowd is good natured and fun all night long. Don’t miss out, there’s only one FINNS Beach Club.

Tips For Having The Best New Year’s Eve In Bali

  • Plan ahead – that means book in advance, and not just the venue for your New Year’s Eve Party but also for a hotel. Ideally, pick somewhere within walking distance of your venue – FINNS Beach Club is on Berawa Beach, you will have more fun at the beach party spot if you can walk back when you’re done. Taxis and ride-shares are both expensive and in short supply all over the island when people celebrate NYE.
  • Get the basics down – make sure to call the venue and find out if they have a dress code. If you want cultural performances in true island style, make sure to book somewhere that has them. If you want top DJs as the clock strikes midnight then there are only a few places with international artists announced. Get your general admission tickets asap. If you are planning on family friendly celebrations don’t book an adults-only club. That kind of thing.
  • Pack smart – don’t bring everything you brought for visiting Bali but do bring enough clothes and kit for a daytime into night party and to ensure you have an unforgettable New Year’s Eve. Comfortable clothing with tropical island vibes and some cash are essential.
  • On the day – make sure to arrive early if you want to ensure you get the best seats or space as the DJs blend tropical island vibes for the countdown parties.
  • Stay safe – we recommend staying hydrated even at a gourmet dinner and especially if you’re going for night and day parties. Alcohol can be much more severe in tropical climates. And watch those drinks, don’t leave them hanging around during the live entertainment. Finally, it’s always a good idea to ensure the safety of your belongings and put them in a locker if one is available and if not, to keep an eye on your things at all times. Don’t start the New Year in a police station filing a report on a lost passport.
  • Watch out for fireworks – while an official fireworks display is great. Occasionally, some bozo will sneak their own into a place and just start letting them off. Don’t interfere if this happens, just make sure to move far enough away that you can’t get hurt when they go off.
  • Think about recovery the next day – a big party, a night on the dance floor, free flow booze and hip hop hits can lead to a day long hangover. It’s best to give yourself some time to rest and recover rather than heading out to another party. One of our top tips is to harness your creative energy and head out to a relaxed brunch. There are lots of great New Year’s Day brunches in town and they’ll ensure you have a more chill experience than the exciting time you had all night long the night before.

2. Potato Head Beach Club – A Slightly Secretive New Year

We are a bit surprised to report that while Potato Head has already confirmed that it will be hosting a NYE Party this year, they’re very thin on the details, so far.

Potato Head has confirmed their resident DJs DITA and GERO will be playing alongside Saoirse and Shanti Celeste, but there’s no mention of a headliner, so far.

This is part of their FULL CIRCLE festival, which they have announced on social media but somehow failed to get onto their website, so if you try and book NYE party tickets online, you won’t get much information as you book.

On the bright side, this absence of news probably means you will be able to get a ticket for this beach club right up to the last minute.

3. Atlas Beach Club – Something Of A New Year’s Gamble

Atlas NYE

Our team were somewhat reluctant to feature Atlas in this line up. While they do have an artist announced (it’s Swae Lee, which is a big step down from last year’s headliner Akon), the venue has been struggling this last year.

We’ve heard of several events being so underattended that they’ve been practically empty and that would make for a terrible NYE Party if it happens on December 31st.

Also, the food and drinks have come into question with odd drinks promos and worse, the introduction of those Indomie Noodles that you can buy in any convenience store in the country on their menu.

Overall, we hope that those who get tickets have a great time at Atlas, and for sure, Akon was good last year. But we’d definitely pick FINNS for New Year’s Eve in Bali over Atlas this year.

Address: Atlas Beach Fest, Jl. Pantai Berawa No.88, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

4. La Brisa – The Cat’s Still In The Bag For New Year

La brisa nye

Another big name beach club without a headliner or indeed any kind of bill whatsoever, there’s no doubt that La Brisa have some genuine experience in delivering a decent NYE Party but we’d really hold off booking a ticket until they have something to share.

It’s nice to be an early bird but if they can’t find an artist, you shouldn’t book. It’s no good being an early bird if you find you’ve got no live music.

Instead of gambling your cash, just book at FINNS instead and then yuo can be certain of a great night out.

Address: La Brisa, Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

5. Ku De Ta Beach Club – Maybe The Cat Ate The Bag?

Ku De Ta is the oldest beach club in Bali and they have a great history of awesome New Year’s Eve events but this year they haven’t even confirmed that there’s an event at all.

We’re assuming that there will be, but we’d make plans for somewhere else unless there’s an announcement in the next couple of weeks.

It’s too big an occasion to be waiting on venues to get their act together and a little bird tells us that there’s a bit of a shortage of artists this year. So, some clubs are bound to end up with very little choice in who they book.

Address: Jl. Kayu Aya No.9, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia

6. Savaya Bali – A Difficult Location For New Year

savaya NYE

We always think that Savaya is a hard place to recommend for New Year’s Eve. It’s in a difficult location to get to and getting out on NYE is a nightmare.

There’s a taxi mafia in operation and almost no Grab/Gojek service. Unless you’re taking your own transport, expect a very expensive ride back to your hotel.

If you do decide to go, they’ve got Jamie Jones & Bedouin laying down the tunes for their party and this beach club.

Address: Jl. Belimbing Sari, Banjar Tambiyak, Pecatu, Uluwatu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80364, Indonesia

7. Midaz Bali – Upscale Dining

Midaz NYE

Midaz is a very posh fine dining restaurant in Seminyak and you can enjoy a New Year’s Eve here if you want to spend it by the Indian Ocean doing something… because yes, you guessed it, they’ve said they’re holding an event but they haven’t yet confirmed what it will be.

Last year, they had a first rate dining package and some live music and several DJs and we expect that things will be very similar this year, but really, we’d hope for some sort of detail on this proposal by now.

Bali’s biggest date needs proper planning rather than leaving your booking to the last minute. Petitenget Beach is a nice spot but that’s not enough to go on.

Address: Jl. Petitenget No.19, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

8. Woobar Bali @ W Bali – Spanish House New Year’s Party

Last year, there were DJs and a hip-hop stage. But this year? It’s going to be David Penn, who is a Spanish house music DJ, and their residents spinning up the tracks up until the countdown.

It’s certainly going to be one of the most expensive beach club nights out in Bali on December 31st. It will be under the name of “Made the List”, which is a strange name for a party.

They are also famous for their end-of-evening fireworks performances and we’re assured that there will be more fireworks this year.

Address: Jalan Petitenget Seminyak, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

9. Akasa Jumeriah Bali – DJs, Dancing And Dinner

akasa jumeirah

This fancy fine dining restaurant in the upmarket Jumeria resort has already signalled that it will host a New Year’s Eve dinner this year in Bali.

They’ve said it will see two DJs, a live dance performance and a band. The countdown will include a DJ set.

Mainly though it’s all about the dining package which is available for a fixed fee. It’s worth noting that this package does not include any drinks which are sold separately.

This is also one of the few venues that will expect you to dress to impress. So make sure to check the dress code before you go.

Address: Raya Uluwatu Street, Pecatu, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali

10. Tropical Temptation – “Awakened Dreaming”

Tropical Temptation faces many similar challenges to Savaya when it comes to getting in and out on New Year’s Eve and we’d advise you to arrive very early and anticipate long delays in getting home if you do go.

They’re hosting an “Awakened Dreamers’ event this year which is hosting 3 Dj sets and some 3 hours of “ecstatic dancing” which sound a bit cult-like but is meant to be fun.

There is a dress code but “boho chic” would seem pretty broad to us. They will also be serving their own range of non-alcoholic herbal concoctions which are said to add an extra dimension to the party experience.

Address: Melasti Beach 88, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

11. Copper Kitchen @ Bisma 8 – “Smoke & Char”

copper kitchen

“Smoke and Char” is the foucs of the event at Copper Kitchen or as we peasants would say, “barbecue”. That sounds very tasty to be fair.

There’s going to be a lot to eat and a decent drinks list given this place’s renown for great food and libations.

There’s a DJ on the decks as the countdown progresses and as it’s a rooftop restaurant, you can probably catch most of Ubud’s fireworks from this venue too.

Address: No. 68 Jalan Bisma, Bali, 80571

12. Azul Beach Club X Bali Mandira – A Big Dinner For The New Year

Azul Beach Club has done a joint New Year’s Eve dinner with Bali Mandira and the hotel’s guests and dinner guests are also welcome to attend the Sandy Beach Pool Countdown Party for free after the gourmet meal is done.

There will be 5 courses in total served with ocean views and you can expect some interesting international cuisine at this affair.

This is one of the very few big events near Legian Beach in Bali. So, if you’re in that neck of the woods it might be worth checking out.

We should note that stray dogs on Legian Beach can be pretty dangerous so if you see any around, it’s best to avoid them.

Friends Bar – The Best After-Party Venue On The Island

When all the other parties are done, the party at Friends Bar is just getting started and it’s the best after party on the island.

If you’re at FINNS Beach Club or Atlas for New Year’s Eve, then you’re going to find you can walk from the beach club to Friends Bar.

They’ll be staying open much later than everybody else and as long as there are people having fun, their doors will be open. It’s a good natured place with excellent bar snacks and cold drinks.

So, why not begin 2026 in style with a few mates at Friends Bar in Canggu? It’s Bali’s best kept secret and the only after party worth talking about for New Year’s Eve.

Final Thoughts On New Year’s Eve In Bali

If you can only get to one New Year’s Eve party, it ought to be the one at FINNS Beach Club. It’s the best way to see in the New Year in Bali. Great music, amazing vibes, a dramatic ocean sunset view, a surprise end of night show and much more.

However, if you want a family friendly evening or just fancy feasting on some great NYE dinners, there are plenty of options for you too.

The only thing that we’d caution against is booking tickets for any party without at least one artist.
