10 Best Beach Clubs In Canggu: The Best Clubs Around Bali’s Most Popular Area

Canggu is currently the most popular destination in Bali and the area has some of the best beach clubs on the island.

But if you’re going to spend a day in Canggu, which beach club should you visit? Well, the Little Bingin team has spent a lot of time in that part of Bali and we’ve put together a ranked list of the best beach clubs in Canggu, for you.

Our 10 Top Beach Clubs In Canggu In Order

  1. FINNS Beach Club

They say it’s the world’s best beach club and according to MSN, Bali’s Best Beach Clubs and many other sources, it is the world’s best beach club.

It’s famous for its non-compromising approach to excellence and it sets the standards for beach clubs in Bali that its competitors can only hope to keep up with.

A day at FINNS means beachfront infinity pools, perfectly mixed cocktails, delicious dining from around the world, non-stop entertainment and live DJs and vocalists, plus a special ingredient that helps every guest to feel valued.

Where other beach clubs nickel and dime their customers to maximize their spending, FINNS doesn’t. Instead, it just makes the experience so awesome that you don’t want to leave.

And best of all, when you go back to FINNS after a few months, there’s always a sense of change and progress. They never rest on their laurels as they work to create the world’s best beach party experience, every single day and they succeed every single day too.

  1. COMO Beach Club

This is a small scale hotel beach club that has no entrance fees and a fair minimum spend requirement.

While the club may not be huge, the fact that it’s in a hotel means you get a little extra personal space on a daybed here.

You will need a daybed if you want to use the pool, though, as guests in the restaurant and bar are not allowed pool access.

This is a good place to take your kids if you want a relaxed day by the pool and once a month, they even allow dogs in!

  1. Mari Beach Club

Mari is a fairly small club and it’s one of the most attractively designed places in Canggu, though they clearly drew some inspiration from FINNS.

We thought the service was very good here, though we did find the entrance process to be overly complicated, we hope they’ll simplify it over time.

Our team also really enjoyed the food which was very tasty, but they were a little disappointed by the portion sizes compared to the large price tags.

The only downside of this club is that there’s very little shade over the daybed areas, which means you may not want to stay all day long.

  1. The Lawn

The Lawn is a small beach club that does a lot of things very well and there’s no doubt that when you walk in the door for the first time, you’re going to be fairly impressed.

However, though it looks good, The Lawn doesn’t have much in the way of entertainment and that means it might not hold your interest for a long session.

We were also disappointed in the cocktails, which looked very impressive and our Instagram feed got a lot of likes, but they were nearly all ice when it came to drinking them.

  1. Vue

Vue sits in the LV8 Hotel compound. The hotel was once one of the top destinations on the island, but it’s looking a little long in the tooth nowadays.

Assuming, you can make your way through the hotel and find this beach club, you’ll be reasonably glad that you did.

Our team really enjoyed the pool area at Vue and we thought the food and drinks were well made and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a good beach club that suffers from minor issues on the way in.

  1. Old Man’s

OK, it’s not really a beach club but Old Man’s has an old school beach bar appeal and though there are no swimming pools or early day entertainment, it specializes in one thing – value for money.

The happy hour, in particular, is something of a local legend and mostly, Old Man’s is a warm-up destination if you want to party hard but conserve your budget a little.

If you’re there around sunset, you do get some view of the beach and that’s a nice touch.

  1. Cafe Del Mar

Cafe Del Mar, Bali always feels like it’s in a competition with Cafe Del Mar, Ibiza and frankly, it’s not in the same league as its Balearic big brother.

The lack of beach access in this beach club is a bit bewildering. If you want to set foot in the sand, you will need to leave the club for the day.

However, there’s a nice enough chill out vibe here even if the music isn’t on par with the Ibizan brand backing up the place and the swim-up bars are pretty good too.

  1. La Brisa

La Brisa is all about sustainability and their reclaimed wood furniture is very attractive and reasonably comfortable (though we confess, it wasn’t comfortable enough for us to spend all day sat on it).

There’s no entrance fee and their minimum spend is very reasonable compared to some other beach clubs.

But there’s very little in the way of entertainment and we felt like we’d spend a few hours chilling here and then be a bit bored.

  1. Atlas Beach Club

Atlas Beach Club has been claiming the title of the world’s biggest beach club for a long time, but iit isn’t anymore – the biggest beach club by land area is Serene by GAIA in Dubai.

And its size is often Atlas’s biggest disadvantage, it’s not the most popular club in Canggu and despite a very professional display inside the club, it often feels a bit empty without a huge crowd.

We would like to see Atlas do better, but the fact that they charge an entrance fee, have hit and miss service and don’t seem to be able to offer a fully joined up experience, it seems unlikely that they will, for now.

  1. Favela Chic

Bless, Favela Chic is on the list because it claims to be a beach club and because we needed 10 beach clubs to make it a full list.

However, it’s more like a local warung with beach bar ambitions than a full beach club. However, if you just want a relatively cheap day of drinking by the sea, it certainly ticks the boxes.

Just realize there’s no pool, no entertainment, no daybeds, etc. and you’ll be fine.

FAQs

What Is The Best Beach Club In Bali?

There’s no doubt that at this moment, the best beach club in Bali, and probably the world, is FINNS Beach Club.

The club sets standards for the beach club scene as a whole and their team constantly evolves their approach to ensure that each trip to FINNS is as memorable as your first.

We know that 1 in 6 international visitors to the island go to FINNS, and that unusually for a business in a holiday destination, they see a lot of repeat customers.

Is There An Entrance Fee For FINNS Beach Club?

FINNS Beach Club does not charge an entrance fee. In fact, any visitor to FINNS can, assuming they have capacity inside the club at the time, walk-in to FINNS at any time and sit at the bars or restaurants without even agreeing to a minimum spend.

However, if you want to sit on those comfy daybeds by the pool, you will need to agree to buy a certain minimum amount of food, drinks and tobacco products (if you don’t use it all up while you’re there, the club allows you to convert what’s left into take away products).

That seems fair enough to us. Particularly, as FINNS is not expensive for the beach club scene here in Bali, and it’s much better value than most clubs in Ungasan.

Is It Worth Going To A Beach Club In Bali?

Yes, we think it’s an iconic experience going to a beach club in Bali and it would be a shame to come all this way and not visit, at least, one beach club.

Bail is one of the few places where you can enjoy this level of luxury affordably and who doesn’t enjoy watching a glorious sunset with a cocktail in hand, while splashing around in an infinity pool or lounging on a comfy daybed? That’s what the tropics are made for.

What’s The Most Popular Beach Club In Bali?

At this moment, the most popular beach club in Bali is FINNS Beach Club. Even if other beach clubs on the island are empty, FINNS is always full and the party is always in full swing.
