Bali has more family-friendly beach clubs than you can shake a stick at, and that’s great. It means you can take your kids out for a nice day by the seaside with great food and safe pools to play in.
However, if you want to spend time without children, things get much harder. Despite Bali’s massive beach club scene, there are only six adults-only beach clubs in the province and only five on mainland Bali!
So, our team tracked down each of these clubs and visited them so that you could enjoy this carefully curated list of the best adults-only beach clubs in Bali.
Our Favourite Adults-Only Beach Clubs In Bali
1. FINNS Beach Club (and FINNS VIP Beach Club)

The undisputed king of the adults-only beach club scene in Bali is FINNS Beach Club. The FINNS name has become such a draw that many people come to the island just to party at the beach club.
They say that 1 in 4 people who visit Bali from overseas will venture through the doors of FINNS at some point during their stay here!
It’s often considered to be the “world’s best beach club” by multiple sources, including MSN, and it ranks as the best beach club in Bali on the Best Beach Clubs Bali site, which has reviewed every beach club here.
The club has three incredible pools, more bars and restaurants than you could ever need in a day’s visit and the finest entertainment of any beach club in Southeast Asia and probably on the planet.
The view over the Indian Ocean from the infinity pool is unparalleled, and sunsets at FINNS are the stuff of legends. Kicking back with a cocktail here as the DJs lay down some awesome tunes is one of the finest privileges in life.
And then, there’s FINNS VIP Beach Club, adding an additional layer of luxury to the overall experience, which means you can really have an exceptional time to suit your budget.
Oh, and FINNS doesn’t charge an entrance fee, and there’s no charge for their daybeds, either; you just agree to a minimum spend to enjoy the most memorable beach club day of your life. You can’t beat that.
Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

2. Tropical Temptation

Tropical Temptation is on Melasti Beach, which is super handy if you’re staying in Ungasan, and otherwise one of the most challenging places to get to in mainland Bali, thanks to the traffic conditions and its location on the Southern edge of the Bukit Peninsula.
We were pleased to learn that there was no entrance fee at this club, but were pretty shocked by the high minimum spend requirements. It’s also pretty poor form that you have to pay for towel rental on top of that minimum spend.
The DJs are good, though, and you can party pretty hard here from mid-afternoon onwards. The pool is also very nice, but there’s no chance of enjoying a sunset view from here; it’s on the wrong part of the island.
You should also know that the food and drinks are pretty expensive, though that is in keeping with the rest of Ungasan.

3. Le Pirate Beach Club

Le Pirate Beach Club is a charming option for an adults-only beach club in the Nusa Islands. That means to get there, you’ll need to take a boat to Nusa Lembongan from the mainland.
Then it’s a fairly bumpy scooter ride from there to Nusa Ceningan and on to Le Pirate Beach Club.
Once you get there, you’ll find that they’ve recently gone completely adults-only in this venue (they used to have a no kids in the pool policy).
The club isn’t a huge party spot, mind you; it’s a relaxed environment for a few beers with friends and potentially new friends out in the middle of nowhere.
We had a really nice day here, and it was an ideal for a stopping off point while we explored the islands.
Address: Jalan Nusa Ceningan, Klungkung, Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali 82218, Indonesia

4. Azul Beach Club

Legian is a small beach town on the South Coast of Bali, and Azul Beach Club is its adults-only destination.
We like the look of Azul and think the design looks great in your Instagram photos. It is a beach club, and there’s the facility to enjoy icy cocktails (from Bali’s first-ever tiki bar), but the action is really indoors here.
That’s because it has more in common with a nightclub than a traditional beach club, and the parties are hardest in the bar on the second floor of the building.
That does mean if you just want to let your hair down and dance, you can skip the daybed entirely and just go wild.
Our only reservation about Azul Beach Club is that if you’re looking to eat here, the food is some of the priciest that we’ve encountered in a beach club in Bali.
Address: Jl. Padma No.2, Legian, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

5. El Kabron Cliff Club

El Kabron is a party venue for those who really don’t mind being overwhelmed by the sound of the speakers. They like it loud at this venue, and we found that we needed earplugs to preserve our hearing at points during the day.
It’s easy to find them online as they’re big on sending out a ton of ads on social media and search engines to anyone on the internet they think might be interested.
There are a lot of seating options at El Kabron, and while that is, in theory, a positive, it can make booking at this beach club a bit confusing.
Putting these things aside, the entertainment here is very good, and while the pool wasn’t the cleanest, it’s great for cooling off in the Bali heat.
We should note that while the club itself is entirely adults-only, they have an on-site restaurant which is not adults-only, but kids are only allowed to enter with their parents and cannot go into the rest of the facility.

6. Savaya

Savaya is one of the more iconic-looking beach clubs in Bali, and there’s no doubt that it has one of the best musical lineups on the island.
However, they have some bizarre entrance policies, and it’s extremely expensive, particularly when they have guest DJs performing.
It’s the only beach club on this list with an entrance fee, and you will also need to agree to a hefty minimum spend if you want to sit down in comfort.
On the bright side, the service at this beach club is first-rate. And it’s a popular spot with the young and well-heeled.
We don’t recommend eating here, though. We think Savaya’s kitchen produces some of the worst food of any beach club in Bali.

FAQs
Why Aren’t There More Adults-Only Beach Clubs Here In Bali?
There are plenty of possible reasons for the lack of adults-only club facilities on the island, and they include:
- Demand – Bali is famous for its family-friendly beaches and tourism, while it does have a reputation for parties too, it’s not quite on the same scale, yet.
- Location – the big party towns (the Southern beach towns – Canggu, Uluwatu, Ungasan, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, etc.) are pretty well-served with adults-only facilities. Locating an adults-only beach club in Amed, for example, wouldn’t make much sense.
- Poor planning – we can actually think of several beach clubs here that should be adults-only. However, they don’t seem to be able to focus on a target audience and meander all over the place with their offerings.
Sadly, this means some “family-friendly” beach clubs are not places that we’d want to take our children to. We have no issues with adults partying, but we’d prefer our kids not to endure their drunken antics all the same.
What’s The Best Club In Bali For Older Adults?

FINNS Beach Club is the best club in Bali. We’d recommend FINNS VIP Beach Club for older adults seeking a more refined experience.
You’re never too old to party at FINNS, mind you, and the club regularly sees older folks rubbing shoulders with its youthful crowd and having the time of their lives.
Can I Take My Kids To FINNS Beach Club?
No, as of May 1st, 2025, FINNS Beach Club and FINNS VIP Beach Club are adults-only. No child under the age of 16 is permitted into the venue.
We support this strategy. It means FINNS can excel at being the island’s best party venue, and children don’t need to endure the spectacle that this can occasionally entail.
And on the flip side of that, the adults at FINNS can let their hair down and go wild, without worrying about upsetting any kids.
Is Potato Head Beach Club A Child-Friendly Venue?
Yes, Potato Head Beach is a child-friendly venue. This beach club is quite sedate and focused more on chilling than partying.
So, if you’re seeking a relatively calm space for some family fun around the pool, Potato Head might be a good option.
We’d note that they also have their own resort, which welcomes kids too and provides access to the facilities at their creative village.

Is Luna Beach Club For Adults?
No, Luna Beach Club is officially family-friendly, and children are welcome at Luna. However, The Cave, which is their nightclub facility, is only open to kids in the very early part of the day.
In the afternoons, The Cave becomes an adults-only facility, and it’s meant to provide a space where folks can really party. Though we should note that in recent times, Luna has been pretty empty, and not every day produces much in the way of a party.
Final Thoughts On The Top Beach Clubs In Bali For Adults-Only
If you want an adults-only beach club in Bali, we really recommend that you check out FINNS. It’s the world’s best beach club and, in our opinion, it lives up to its reputation.
Some say that you’ve not been to Bali at all, unless you’ve been to FINNS, it’s that good.
However, if you’re looking to expand your adults-only repertoire beyond FINNS, then the five other beach clubs on the list above offer you the chance to have some fun without kids cramping your style.
