Our Top 15 Beach Clubs In Bali
FINNS Beach Club (and FINNS VIP Beach Club)

FINNS Beach Club may not be the biggest beach club by land area in Bali, but there’s no doubt that it’s the biggest by reputation and visitor numbers.
This beach club with direct beach access to Berawa Beach and an amazing view of the Indian Ocean is Bali’s most popular beach club.
It’s an adults-only affair with several pools (including an ocean front infinity pool with a swim up bar facility), bars and restaurants.
FINNS excels at delivering world-class entertainment, and nothing on the island comes close to keeping your interest like FINNS can all day long.
They accept walk-in guests, but we’d recommend that you book in advance as day beds quickly sell out.
FINNS VIP Beach Club is on the same site and offers an even more upmarket experience, for very little extra money.
If you only go to one beach club during your time in Bali, we’d recommend that you make it FINNS.
Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: FINNS
Potato Head Beach Club

Potato Head, which is part of a creative village complex in Seminyak, is almost the opposite of FINNS with a very laid back atmosphere and chill out vibe.
They have free entry for most of the day, though they do charge an entrance fee around sunset.
However, we would note that if you don’t book a day bed and agree to a minimum spend, you will be situated away from the other guests inside.
Otherwise, this is a good place for food and drinks if you just want to spend some time soaking up the sun.
Address: Potato Head Beach Club/Desa Potato Head, Petitenget St No.51B, Seminyak, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Ku De Ta
Ku De Ta, also in Seminyak, is one of the island’s older beach clubs and it still features in almost every list of best beach clubs in the area.
You can get a great view of the local beach from the top floor of this building, and we’d note, it’s the best place to sit if you don’t want to be drowned out by the music.
Fortunately, if you’re all about the music, they do have regular live acts and a “director of music” to provide direction for the piped music during the day.
Ku De Ta is as good as most beach clubs in Bali, still, but it has been somewhat eclipsed by the two beach clubs at the top of our list.
Address: Jl. Kayu Aya No.9, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia

COMO Beach Club
COMO is part restaurant and part beach club, and mainly it’s there to provide resort guests with something to do during the day.
However, it’s open to outsiders, and they have a very nice view of Echo Beach. It’s also one of the few clubs to have a pet-friendly day for their visitors.
The breakfast buffet at this club is excellent, and it’s a standout feature when compared to other clubs, which rarely open for breakfast on this side of the island.
Address: Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Azure Beach Restaurant
One handy thing about Azure is that it’s really close to the airport, so if you’re looking for a club where you can grab some drinks before you fly – this could be it.
This also means that they have a lot of visitors who bring a lot of luggage with them, and they’re happy to store luggage for their guests.
We like the strip of pristine beach that it’s located on, and their pool bar is very pleasant.
However, it’s also super popular with coach parties, so book in advance or risk turning up and finding there’s nowhere for you to sit down.
Address: 65V8+RP Kelan Beach, Jl. Segara Madu, Tuban, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Suku Beach Club
If you’re visiting the tiny island of Nusa Ceningan, then you might want to track down Suku Beach Club.
We love that they have a very low minimum spend requirement and no entrance fee.
We found the pool area to rival the best pools in Bali and there are far fewer people using it than normal, thanks to the remote location of this club.
There’s no doubt that they pride themselves on delivering good food at this club, too. So, make sure to check it out if you’re passing by.
Address: Nusa Ceningan, Jl. Sarang Burung, Dusun Batu, Melawang, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771, Indonesia

Klive Beach Club
Klive is awkwardly situated on the Bukit Peninsula, and it may be the only club to be more difficult to get to than the clubs on Melasti Beach.
However, there’s no doubt that this club is a nice place to hang out, and you can get a nice view from the infinity pool here.
The layered concept for this club is nice, and it gives the interior a feel of connected small spaces that are ideal for socialising and making new friends.
Klive has only recently opened its doors, and there are still some minor teething problems to be ironed out, but all in all, it’s a good day out.

Sundara Beach Club
This club is at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jimbaran, and as you might expect, it’s a very upmarket experience.
Jump in the infinity pool and browse the excellent menu of fine dining Asian cuisine, and you’ll certainly be glad that you came, though.
This is a beach club with free entry and no minimum spend, but you’re pretty much guaranteed to spend a small fortune on this pristine stretch of beach.
Don’t forget to try the fresh seafood at this day club, as it is what the area is famous for.
Address: Sundara Beach Club, Bay, Jimbaran, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Magus Warung
In general, we find Melasti Beach’s club scene to be overpriced, and given that it’s not the easiest part of Bali to get to for most people, we tend to avoid it.
Magus Warung is the exception. This small beach club punches above itts weight and while it may not have a cliff edge view, it has reasonable prices, direct beach access and wonderful local hospitality.
If we’re passing through this part of Bali, Magus Warung will always be our top pick.

Sunset Beach Bar

This club is at the Intercontinental Resort, and as you might expect, this is an upmarket beach restaurant which is primarily for guests of the resort, but outside customers are also welcome.
The staff and experience are excellent overall, and we can’t imagine not enjoying a day at Sunset Beach Bar.
But you must consider that this is a premium-priced destination, and you can easily have a great day out at a club for much less money.
Address: InterContinental Bali Resort, Jl. Raya Uluwatu No.45, Jimbaran, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Pavilion Surf Club
Pavilion isn’t your standard club. In fact, there’s no pool, no swim-up bar, etc., but if you enjoy a great view of the beach and cheap food and drink, you can’t go wrong here.
This is a place for expats and tourists to enjoy a few beers, without worrying about a minimum spend. And it excels at what it does.
Address: Jl. Pantai Double Six No.10, Legian, Kuta, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Ohana’s
Ohana’s is on the island of Nusa Lembongan, and it’s a small but very enjoyable club experience.
We like the bonfires on the beach almost as much as we like their wood-fired pizza. Ohana’s is a great choice of club for the Nusa Islands.
Address: Nusa Lembongan, Gg. Nusa Indah Jl. Jungutbatu, Jungutbatu, Kec. Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80228, Indonesia

Yeh Gangga Beach Club by Uname

If you’re in West Bali, you won’t have a huge amount of clubs to choose from, but we’re big fans of Yeh Gangga out of the clubs you do have out there.
It’s not too far West, so it can be done as a day trip from Canggu, though we’d recommend that you spend a night out there.
They have free entry, no minimum spend, a lovely spot on the beach where you can enjoy the sunset, and the food and drinks are pretty good too.
Address: Jl. Yeh Gangga I, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82115

Cactus Beach Club
This spot in Nusa Penida has an excellent infinity pool set under rows of sculpted palm trees, and it’s a very laid-back tropical vibe.
All told, the food is tasty, the service is excellent for this part of the world, and it’s a nice place to relax with friends off the mainland.
Address: Jl. Batu Nunggal-Suana, Batununggul, Kec. Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771, Indonesia

Bondalem Beach Club
Bonadalem might not be the first place you think of, but if you’re in the mood for a day of snorkelling followed by a pleasant dinner by the sea, its’ a good choice.
Of course, it’s on a much less-visited part of the island, so you’ll need to take that into account and maybe stay overnight if you want to get the most out of a trip here.

FAQs
What Is The Number One Beach Club In Bali?
The number one beach club in Bali by quite some margin is FINNS Beach Club and FINNS VIP Beach Club. They regularly top lists of the best beach clubs in the world, best beach clubs in Bali and other lists of best beach clubs.
With a mix of local DJs and international DJs laying down the tunes all day long and a stunning location on Berawa Beach, this beach club is famous the world over.
If you love being entertained, amazing food and drink and the best sunset views on Earth, you’re going to love FINNS.
Are Beach Clubs In Bali Worth It?
Yes, while things might seem a little pricey (particularly if you have to pay an entrance fee and agree to a minimum spend), we think you can’t beat the beach club experience.
We also think that if you choose your beach club carefully, you can have a great day out without breaking the bank.
A day at FINNS is surprisingly reasonable when you consider the location, the party vibe, the day beds, etc. and won’t cost you as much as a night out in somewhere like Sydney or London.
The real key to having the best time at a beach club is to be clear about what you want to enjoy before you book. Bali’s beach clubs are very varied, and there’s a huge difference between, for example, a family-friendly beach club and an adults-only beach club.
If you want beach bonfires and BBQs, you’ll need to look in a different place from a place with multiple pools and a dance floor. If you dream of floating bean bags, you may not find them in the same place as live music and so on…
Which Area Has The Best Nightlife In Bali?
Canggu is, without a doubt, the part of Bali with the hottest nightlife and then hot on its heels would be the Kuta and Seminyak beach club areas.
What Is The Newest Beach Club In Bali?
We think Suka Sunset Beach Bar in Seminyak is the newest beach club in Bali as it’s only recently opened its doors to the general public.
Final Thoughts On Bali’s Beach Clubs
There is a beach club for everyone in Bali. The 15 we’ve picked for this list rise above most other beach clubs on the island and offer the discerning visitor a little something more.
As we always say, if you can pick just one beach club during your stay here – go to FINNS. It’s the best beach club in the world.
But if you’ve got more time, you might want to try out a few different clubs and work out the best beach club for you.
